As a college freshman majoring in journalism, a big problem that I have come across is the question of exactly WHAT form of journalism do I want to be a part of? Apart from my one passion of becoming an advice columnist, I also had taken a photography course in my senior year of high school, and since then I've grown a lot more interested in that subject. I really want to start using my SLR camera again as I notice more that there are so many things in nature and even in everyday household and school activities that could be captured in a photograph. When you learn the right style and techniques, pretty much ANYTHING can make an interesting picture. I admit I'm a beginner, so I don't even know too much about the different settings on my camera yet, but I am an eager student-waiting-to-become-professional :)
I will post some B&W photos I took a little while back ASAP.
